Publicly appointed and sworn experts for the valuation of developed and undeveloped properties

(IHK München und Oberbayern)

Brief-RGB.tif

Since the designation "valuer" is not protected in Germany, the public appointment and swearing-in for the valuation of developed and undeveloped properties provides security for the special suitability in this field.

One of the highest commandments of a publicly appointed and sworn expert is absolute neutrality towards all parties. Public appointment and swearing in require far above-average expertise. The special expertise must be proven in an elaborate examination procedure and maintained through constant further training.

The work of the publicly appointed and sworn expert is subject to constant supervision by the appointing body (in this case the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria - IHK München und Oberbayern). The quality seal is highly coveted and is only held by persons who have proven themselves to be trustworthy and of integrity.

With the commissioning of a publicly appointed and sworn expert, the client thus receives additional security for his decisions.

Recognized European Valuer

REV

Recognized European Valuer (REV) is a certified qualification by TEGoVA. TEGoVA (The European Group of Valuers Association) is a Europe-wide association of real estate valuers' associations.

The European Valuation Standards to be observed by the REV's are summarised in the so-called "Blue Book", which in its essential content corresponds to the "Red Book" of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).

The aim of this merger is, among other things, to establish Europe-wide standards in real estate valuation, to exchange information between the national associations, to establish a uniformly high level of qualification of experts and their continuous further training.
